Devon Street Review Guidelines

Devon Street Review is open to receiving solicited Advance Reading Copies and Review Copies of books. Preferred literary genres include Biography/Memoir, Religion/Spirituality, Health/Mind/Body, Entertainment, Humor, Poetry, New Adult, Nonfiction - Adult, True Crime, Middle Grade, Teens/YA, Political/Social Justice, Progressive Theology, and Mystery/Thrillers. Devon Street Review is open to most genres, though romance is a deal-breaker.

Devon Street Review has a special interest in empowering women writers, disabled writers, and other minority voices. As an Indianapolis-based publication, Devon Street Review places a strong emphasis on reviewing Indiana writers.
Devon Street Review works hard to honor every review request, but prefers to emphasize quality over quantity. We cannot guarantee to review unsolicited review copies of books sent, though certainly will do our best and do welcome indie/first-time authors.

As a new publication (2020), Devon Street Review is still learning the ropes and building relationships and we welcome ongoing relationships with indie, small, and larger publishing houses. Self-published titles being widely distributed will certainly be considered for review.
Devon Street Review accepts both e-book and print submissions. As a Netgalley member, Advance Reader Copies are welcome. Preferred format for e-books is either Kindle or EPUB.

Reviews are published on Devon Street Review, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other applicable sites. If the title is a Netgalley title, it will be published on Netgalley. If you have a special request, please feel free to make it and we'll do our best to honor it. Devon Street Review also works with several non-profit and corporate publications and will publish in additional settings as available.
